A very soulful version of X Japan’s Forever Love, sung by a female singer, in the background of a commercial for something completely inappropriate for the song.
Outside of a motor scooter store, they were playing Rosier by Luna Sea.
In the super market, there was a midi version of Locolotion by Orange Range playing. I could totally sing along, even though there were no words and the music was awful.
On the way home from dinner, a car drove by me, blaring ‘I will survive’ by Aretha Franklin. A middle aged Japanese man was driving said car.
I haven’t updated this much yet, cuz I want to wait until get my proper smartphone to make posting easier… but that won’t be until middle of next month… so whenever I stop being lazy I will upload some of the pics I’ve taken.
I have bought a few things to make my apartment more homey, and I am very happy with them all so far— yay for 100en shops and recycle shops!

And I am so not packed.
It makes me happy. Also, moving out of my NY apartment in a few days. T-minus 9 days til I get on the airplane to Japan.
This is going to be my blog for while I live in Japan for the next two years or so. It will be used mostly for me to keep in touch with friends, so lots of pictures and tales of what I am doing while living abroad. I may post other random Japan-related stuff here, we will see where my mood takes me.
